Obligatory Post Rumblings

I lack the necessary attributes to generate “controversy” for page hits as many of the liberal, progressive, conservative, whatever the terms are these days people.   I do not care enough for flagrant abuse of minutiae.   If I cared, I would make an effort. I harvest too many  ovaries and have more pressing concerns.  HA! A boy can only make so much bread.

How do I distract myself since everyone bores me?

I ponder how to channel my inner ‘Artful Dodger’ à la Yamamoto.

Since Puritanism displays vicious horns, the shoes are appropriate. If I ever attend a rally of any sort, I know what to wear.

I discovered Bacon Salt and must have it.  I don’t care if it is kosher and vegetarian.  Synthetic bacon flavor works for me.  I am partial to real bacon, but I will settle for a quick fix. I am a proud American.

The Austrian art collector Rudolf Leopold died.  He collected two of my favorite artists, Schiele and Kokoschka, amongst many.   Nazi theft is under scrutiny with his acquisitions, but it is still an amazing collection.

Here are two of my favorite pieces by Schiele and Kokoschka.

Oskar Kokoschka: Die Windsbraut 'The Tempest' (1914)

My cheek is troubled too.

Is It Another Midnight Serenade?

I scrub my skin with salts scented with necessary herbs. It offers a momentary relief and comforts. Thoughts descend as idiocy reigns supreme. HA! I require more creme.

I pretend I am Venus with those who adorn.

Random Thoughts

As is obvious, I neglect this place. There isn’t enough whisky to make me give a shit. Everyone has an endless opinion about whatever. Float from site to site and it usually involves dissent. It is always easier to be pissy or enraged with the OED handy.

I declare myself Pro-Life. I accept the continual birth of peas and lemons. HA!

Limoncello and lemon curd are in my future as is a buttery sauté of peas and prosciutto. I am patient for a few things. I would love to be in Parma or Guilia to brand salted flesh. I gladly await curing.

Silence is Quaint

I could link to this, that or the other. Good luck! I’ll return when I feel like it. Babbling to myself has more of an audience.
