Seven Deadly Sins Haven't Killed Me Yet
Is It Art?
Here is another masterpiece from the Petulant Collection of Paint by Numbers. I do have the traditional Last Supper, but this “modern” interpretation intrigued me. Instead of one long table where Jesus probably had to scream to be heard, the Apostles gather closely around their savior. It is a more intimate setting.
Jesus must always glow. I would love that lighting behind me at all times.
John is more masculine in this version and cannot be mistaken for Mary Magdalene. John is the only one who looks remotely happy. All the other Apostles look pitiful and more bored than anything else.
The bread reminds me of Tofurkey.
I do like the colors and golden goblets. No wood for Jesus! Not yet.
